On a beautiful day at Tadley's Barlow's Park Wokingham and Emmbrook Tigers took on local rivals Reeves Rangers. A tight game saw both sides going close in the first half. Tigers keeper William was on excellent form pushing a wicked free kick on to the cross bar. A succession of Reeves corners tested the Tigers defence but Abel, Aiden, Jonathan and Ethan were resolute. A great combination with Wilf, enabled Alex to slalom into the box and fire home. Tigers fashioned the better chances but could not extend their lead. Supreme tactical use of the squad and phenomenal work rate in the midfield from Freddie, Daniel and Callum supported from the wings by Adam and Charlie won this vital battle. In the dying minutes Samuel raced through against the on rushing keeper. Penalty! Alex stepped coolly up and fired home. The players and the ultras were last seen celebrating at Lowther Road.
